Dit nadat ik wat radiotjes had gebouwd. Ik\u00a0ben ooit als kind met electronica begonnen naar aanleiding van een Philips experimenteer doos. Door die simulator ging ik dingen ontwerpen, maar je wil \u00a0wel weten of iets in werkelijkheid ook werkt dus ik ging meer bouwen. \u00a0Om een doel te hebben leek het me een mooi streven om voor N op te gaan. Mbv PF1F, een HF wizzard en veel hulp op Circuits Online was ik tegen de tijd dat ik voor N op moest klaar voor F. Echter dat wist ik toen niet. Dus direct na N me opgegeven voor F en daar ben ik op 4 april 2007 voor geslaagd. Dat is de verjaardag van mijn zoontje TIM. weet je gelijk waar mijn Call vandaan komt. <img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Laughing\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hamforum.nl\/images\/smilies\/icon_lol.gif\" alt=\":lol:\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ik ben mijn hele leven al met techniek bezig. Vooral het repareren van dingen heeft me altijd aan getrokken. Een mooie kans om dingen te bestuderen en erg leerzaam. Ik heb\u00a0 veel aan klassieke auto&#8217;s en motoren gewerkt, kan redelijk uit de voeten met een draai en freesbank, ik kan MIG en autogeen lassen maar ook dingen als modelbouw vind ik erg leuk.\u00a0Kortom, als het uit elkaar kan krijg ik het uit elkaar (en ook weer in elkaar)<\/p>\n<p>Na het lezen van iets waarin het woord boatanchors voor kwam deed ik een google daarop en stond oog in oog met een racal RA17. Wat een machtig ding was dat. Dat was de eerste aanzet tot het buizenvirus. De tweede was een zekere FAS Sterrenburg welke op Circuits online een topic opende met de uitdaging om maar eens een rechtuit ontvanger te bouwen. Dat deed ik met torretjes. Toen kreeg ik van een mede clublid (REC Culemborg) een trafo, voetje en ECC81. Daar mee bouwde ik mijn eerste 0V1 ook wel mexicaanse hond genoemd. Toen was de beer los. Ik kocht wat buisjes, kreeg er nog wat (350 stuks), de boatachors sloegen los en legde aan in mijn shack. Om al dat spul te restaureren heb je meer meetspul nodig en dat deel van de hobby is wat uit de hand gelopen want om meetapparatuur te restaureren heb je weer meer meetapparatuur nodig en langzaam maar zeker veranderde de shack in een RF en calibratie-lab.<\/p>\n<p>Ik zit meer te solderen en te meten dan dat ik zend, maar ik ben in mijn lab meestal wel QRV op 70 cm via de NOS.<\/p>\n<p>Ik repareer tegenwoordig ook meet- en calibratie apparatuur in opdracht van bedrijven.<\/p>\n<p>Zie daarvoor: www.schneiderelectronicsrepair.nl<\/p>\n<p>Dat werd regelmatig gevraagd maar ik had geen tijd.\u00a0Tegenwoordig\u00a0heb ik die tijd wel en doe dit met veel plezier. Meestal wat oudere maar vaak kostbare of aparte instrumenten welke niet meer door het merk zelf ondersteund worden of waar geen goed modern alternatief voor is. Maar ook ander metrologie gerelateerd werk is mogelijk.\u00a0 bv\u00a0 het\u00a0maken van\u00a0kabels of dingen als \u00a0fixtures. Op verzoek\u00a0doe ik ook (component) metingen. Maar ook testen of bouwen van\u00a0prototypes is geen probleem.\u00a0Ik kan ook analoge ontwerpen\u00a0verzorgen, als u bv\u00a0uw digitale ontwerp van een analoog frontend wil voorzien.<\/p>\n<p>Ik werk meestal op no cure, no pay basis.<\/p>\n<p>Ik kan heel veel repareren\u00a0maar hou niet van half werk.\u00a0\u00a0Zie de voorbeelden van wat reparaties op mijn site http:\/\/www.pa4tim.nl\/?cat=36<\/p>\n<p>I am a radio amateur since 2006. It started after building some radios. One thing lead to another and before I knew I was hooked on radio. I became a Novice Ham in 2006 and 6 months later I got my Full licence (with help from an other HAM, an RF engineer with very much knowledge)<br \/>\nI got hooked on tubes thanks to the writer of a famous radio boek, FAS Sterrenburg. He sended me a few tubes and a a clubmember of the REC gave me some other parts and I started building. I found out I needed more measure stuff but after getting more of that, I found out I needed more knowledge about repairing them. So I started reading and experimenting only to find out I needed more gear and after that more knowledge. A very pleasant spiral. So at this time I have my own RF and cal lab. My main interest are about network analysis, calibration and RF design. I spent more time experimenting, repairing and building as being &#8220;on air&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Besides that I do professional test gear repairs and adjustments.
